The shop
Herb Stomp is a brick-and-mortar herbal retailer in northeast Portland. You can walk in six days a week (closed Sunday) and shop in person, or have your order shipped via USPS or UPS within 24 hours of being placed.
The shop opened in 2012, and we have been at it for 14 years now. That's long enough to know what works, what doesn't, and which suppliers we actually trust.
Who runs it
Herb Stomp was founded by Cody Klewin and Cati Klewin, the family behind the shop since it opened in 2012. They built it the way it still runs today: a curated shelf, third-party lab testing on the kratom, and an ODA-certified facility operating under HACCP food-safety protocols, backed by a team that keeps the shop and the ship-within-24-hours promise on track.
What we sell
Kratom, kava, maca, ethnobotanicals, loose-leaf teas, extracts and tinctures, incense, essential oils, and a small selection of accessories. We curate hard — every product on the shelf is here because we use it ourselves or our customers ask for it by name.
How we test
Our kratom is third-party tested for three things:
- Heavy metals (lead, arsenic, cadmium, mercury)
- Microbial contamination — the full micro profile
- Alkaloid content — mitragynine and 7-hydroxy-mitragynine
We're certified by the Oregon Department of Agriculture and operate under HACCP food-safety controls. Certificates of analysis are available on request — ask us and we'll send the lab report.
How we ship
USPS or UPS, contiguous 48 states plus Alaska and Hawaii. Free shipping on orders over $200. Orders ship within 24 hours of being placed. Direct signature is required on orders over $300.
Kratom can't be shipped to states where it's banned: Alabama, Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Tennessee, Vermont, or Wisconsin. Under Oregon state regulations, Red Vein and Green Vein kratom can't ship to Oregon. Blue Lotus, Pink Lotus, Lotus Leaf, Wild Dagga, Klip Dagga, Kanna, Damiana, Mugwort, and Indian Warrior also can't ship to Louisiana under state law. Everything else ships nationwide (lower 48 plus AK and HI). We don't ship internationally, no drop-shipping, no COD.
