Rooibos grows only in the Cederberg mountains of South Africa's Western Cape and nowhere else on earth. It's naturally caffeine-free and very low in tannin, so it stays smooth however long it steeps and takes milk the way a black tea does. It's the everyday cup across South Africa.

How to brew Rooibos Tea Bags

Use one tea bag per cup. Pour hot water over the bag and steep to taste, then lift the bag out. See the brewing chart below for the water temperature and steep time we suggest for this style. Each pouch holds 25 tea bags (net wt 2 oz (57 g)), and the bags are unbleached paper with no staples, strings, or tags.
