about this product
What are size "00" gelatin capsules?
Empty two-piece gelatin capsules in size "00", the larger of the two standard home-filling sizes and the most common size for herbal use. The shells are bovine gelatin, the same material capsule makers have used for over a century.
Filling them
Separate the halves, fill the longer body with powder, and press the cap on. For batches, The Capsule Machine "00" fills 24 at a time. Gelatin is best for dry powders; oil-rich material softens gelatin over time, so use vegetable capsules for anything oily.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between size "00" and size "0"?
Size "00" is the larger of the two. Match your capsules to the same-size filling machine.
Can I use gelatin capsules for oily powders?
It is not recommended; oils soften gelatin over time. Vegetable (HPMC) capsules handle oil-rich material better.

Every time I've gone into this shop. It's been absolutely flawless absolutely wonderful and absolutely magical and I so greatly appreciate the materials and the customer service. Let this business put forth. I hope they have many a decade in business to come. And I hope that that business sees them happier and more…
I go to the Herb Stomp locations on Belmont and Sandy. The staff there have always been knowledgeable, gracious, and welcoming. I particularly like discovering new products that I would not have ordering my purchases from an online vendor. 5/5 would go again.
